Professional Affairs Liaison communicates with state representatives and national organizations to keep FLAA members advised of lobbying efforts, legislation changes, and potential political challenges that could affect licensed Audiologists practicing in the state of Florida.
History of the Florida Academy of Audiology
The Florida Academy of Audiology was founded in 1997. We are an academy of, by, and for Audiologists, and are stronger when we collaborate with colleagues in the state of Florida and abroad. Our goal is to increase membership each and every year and to extend a warm welcome to not only join our academy, but also become involved through volunteering, advocacy support, and networking.
