We appreciate everyone’s feedback from our recent Convention Survey! It was very helpful for our planning efforts.
So, the big question for 2021 is — will the FLAA meeting be in person or online? Our focus this year, as always, is to provide you with a quality experience that meets your needs and expectations, and therefore, we are offering three ways to attend:
YOU CAN ATTEND IN PERSON:
FLAA is scheduled to host the in person 2021 FLAA Convention from June 18-19, 2021 at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek in Orlando, Florida. Please note that registration for the meeting and hotel rooms will be available on a first come, first served basis. We will have limited capacity this year due to COVID, so please make sure to book early. Hotel reservations can now be made by clicking this link: https://book.passkey.
YOU CAN ATTEND VIRTUALLY:
For those that are not comfortable or are unable to attend in person, you can also stream the meeting live on June 18-19, 2021 from the comfort of your own home and get your hours! Your experience will be nearly the same as the one that we provided in 2020 with a few tweaks to make it even bigger and better. Please know that we have discussed your experience at length and will be ensuring that you are able to ask questions in real time, just like an in person attendee would. It is important to us that you get the most out of your educational time with us!
YOU CAN ATTEND BY VIEWING THE RECORDINGS OF CONVENTION SESSIONS:
This year, we will be ensuring that our Convention has Medical Errors, ABA Tier 1 Course Offerings and all of the hot topics that you’re looking for, but there’s more. Yes, everyone can attend at the designated “session time” (whether that means in person on streaming live), but all sessions will be recorded and available for playback for all attendees. So, if you miss a class in person, or you can’t attend virtually at a certain time, not to worry because we have you covered! Additionally, while the in person meeting will offer roughly 15 hours of CEUs, we will have additional content available online exclusively for our registrants that will enable you to get more than 25 hours of CEUs for the same price!
Call for Papers – We are seeking both in person and virtual presentations! Our Call for Papers form is now open! Please click here to submit your presentation for consideration. We are particularly interested in the following presentation topics: hearing aid technology, diagnostics, tinnitus, tele-audiology, forensic audiology, aural rehabilitation, balance, misophonia, pharmacology and ABA Tier 1 classes!
Again, your safety and comfort level is our top priority in the coming year. We also recognize the need for quality continuing education units during this licensure renewal year. We hope that everyone is pleased with our solutions to this year’s challenging circumstances. We are doing everything that we can to deliver content in ways that suit everyone’s needs.
