Position – Full Time Audiologist
Location – Tallahassee, FL
ENT/Audiology practice is seeking an Audiologist who shares our passion for our patients and the community we serve. In your Audiologist role, your responsibilities would include providing a variety of services such as electrophysiology/vestibular evaluations, Real Ear verification and Aural rehabilitation. You also would assist patients with hearing aid selection, fitting and adjustment, and attend occasional off-site screenings.

Qualifications
Demonstrate competency in performing the following clinical evaluations and assessments:
– Comprehensive diagnostic audiometric evaluations for adults and pediatric populations
– Immittance assessments
– Otoacoustic Emissions (OAEs)
– Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) evaluations on adult and pediatric populations
– Electronystagmography or Videonystagmography (ENG/VNG)
– Knowledge of Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potential (VEMP) though may not be performed routinely
– Hearing aid analysis, selection and fitting
– Real ear measures including speech mapping and real ear to coupler difference (RECD)
Assessment of hearing aid function and repair (including real ear to assess feature function)
Demonstrate competency in:
– earmold impressions
– making in-house swimmolds
– cerumen removal with syringe irrigation and/or using a lighted curette
– aural rehabilitation counseling
Demonstrate competency in occasional off-site OSHA and/or health fair hearing screenings
Follow standard procedures for OSHA and audiology department infectious disease control
Follow office procedures for HIPAA compliance
Each audiologist will be responsible for an area of department function (i.e. hearing aid pricing, NOAH/software, vestibular coordinator, pediatric coordinator, marketing)
Holds AuD (doctor of Audiology) and licensed in the state of FL (Will help with licensing process and all fees if needed)
