Job Description:
• Perform comprehensive audiologic evaluations to diagnose hearing loss using specialized diagnostic equipment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including hearing rehabilitation and communication improvement strategies.
• Fit, program, dispense, and service hearing aids and other assistive listening devices, while providing patient education on their proper use and care.
• Counsel patients and families regarding hearing health, hearing conservation, communication techniques, and coping strategies for hearing impairment.
• Monitor patient progress through follow-up appointments, outcome measurements, and adjustments to treatment recommendations and hearing devices.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with Florida licensure requirements, professional standards, HIPAA regulations, and applicable state laws.
• Collaborate with physicians, speech-language pathologists, educators, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Provide hearing screenings, community education, and outreach programs to promote early identification and prevention of hearing disorders.

• Current and active license to practice audiology in the State of Florida.
